This a Latin Amercian-style piece written after inspiration from Gloria Estefan’s band the Miami Sound Machine – who are brilliant! It has some tricky rhythms which will sit nicely once bands get used to it, and there are solo passages for different sections of the band in a ‘fugue like’ section in the centre of the piece. I’ve completely reworked this piece here in 2022.
