Description

I’ve Got You Under My Skin: I’ve always thought what a great tune (1936 Cole Porter), but also what a fab 1963 arrangement Nelson Riddle did for Frank Sinatra with Bass Clari to start the real lob bass Trom in the middle recorded by the one and only George Roberts and the crazy trombone solo in the middle by Dick Nash. In arranging this for band I have tried not to miss anything from the original Riddle arrangement to be true and to have it all. In the recording you will hear on YouTube with Rod Franks and Fairey’s and me on stick, we decided that Rod would play the Nash solo which is an option to all soloist’s.https://youtu.be/2ZA1nM5dTAo
