Concert Brass Sextet 2000: Already released 3 days ago (the brass band version CB 2000) I now release the Sextet version 3 trumpets/cnts, 3 trombones both treble and bass clef for Bari’s and euph’s, and Hn in F & Eb = 3rd trumpet part & percussion. Our young brass people need music that teaches and makes them enjoy it, this v Game Boy, YouTube, Tik Tok et al. In times gone past the music solution for the young players was to pick easier music from the grown-up library. Given the “concept” that ensemble material needs to be manufactured to get them to point x highlighting the basic techniques needed ad nauseam within the music somewhat hidden.
The other factor is to keep the player interested and engaged and in a jolly mood relishing the moment in rehearsal and performance? In the future I will release a much larger concept on this theme, but now we have Concert Brass Sextet 2000 with 4 compositions that bring future aspects of professional playing, section awareness and phrasing, tuning, adopting styles, tempi and key changes, using different articulations and note lengths, speeding up and slowing down, mixing enharmonics and five dynamic ranges all without real technical difficulty with optional octave choices, and not forgetting, FUN in music! https://youtu.be/yONWhU__D_s
