Concert Brass 2000: Already 20 years old but making a debut. Our young banding people need music that teaches and makes them enjoy it, this v Game Boy, YouTube, Tik Tok et al. In times gone past the music solution for the young bander’s was to pick easier music from the grown-up library. Given the “concept” of the “Band Trainer” material needs to be manufactured to get them to point x highlighting the basics needed ad nauseam within the music somewhat hidden.
The other factor is to keep the player interested and engaged and in a jolly mood relishing the moment in rehearsal and performance? In the future I will release a much larger concept on this theme, but for now we have Concert Brass 2000 (and later a 10 piece version) with 4 compositions that bring future aspects of professional playing, section awareness and phrasing, tuning, adopting styles, tempi and key changes, using different articulations and note lengths, speeding up and slowing down, mixing enharmonics and five dynamic ranges all without real technical difficulty with optional octave choices, and not forgetting, FUN in music!
