The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union regulation which is effective from Friday 25th May, 2018. The GDPR places new obligations and responsibilities on individuals and businesses offering services from and within the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA consists of all EU members states, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

Improved functionality for data deletion, access and portability: We are working to provide sellers with improved access and portability for their shop data and buyers, their public profile data.
What we expect of our sellers?
As a 4barsrest.shop seller you may need to:
- Create and comply with your own GDPR-compliant privacy policy. We are working to provide an additional field for sellers to create a privacy policy which will be visible to buyers.
- Provide or delete personal information relating to EU customers if you are storing or using it off our website, if requested by the customer.
We will continually review and update our website features to address the GDPR and provide our community of buyers and sellers with greater transparency and control over their data.
